LIQUID SILICONE RUBBER
LSR / LIMS
LIQUID SILICONE RUBBER
Liquid Silicone Rubber is usually named as LSR for short or sometimes mentioned as LIMS (liquid injection molding system).
Liquid Silicone Rubber is a paste-like compound that has good self-leveling ability or thixotropy. The medium polymerized linear polyorganosiloxane is used as basic polymer to mix with filler, auxiliaries and additives.
It is usually delivered in two components (part A and part B) or multi-components depending on the application and production process requirement. LSR is mainly processed by liquid injection molding as well as pour molding and dip coating at room temperature, low temperature (90-110℃) or high temperature (150-180℃ or above).
